Every December, Miami fills up with people running the same loop — the fair, the line, the party they were told to be at, a $28 cocktail eaten standing up. It's a lot of looking and not much tasting.
Ate Basel runs the other way. It's a curated culinary journey through the Miami that locals actually eat in: Cuban, Haitian, Jamaican, Thai, Nikkei, Filipino, Amazonian. Fourteen tables across three days, from a ventanita counter to a design-district dining room, threaded through the art and the culture that make this week worth the flight.
Ten guests. One group. Every reservation, ride and detail handled before you land — so the only thing you have to do is show up hungry.
What the three days hold
Here's the shape of it.
Anchor dinners, a signature night, late-night detours and one farewell brunch on the water. A mix of Miami institutions and rooms that opened this year.
Everyone meets over one long table before the week gets loud. Scouted and confirmed in person.
Fair access plus the satellite shows, studios and murals that don't make the official map — paced so you're never rushing a meal to make a viewing.
Your room is part of the experience, not a line item you sort out alone. Details below.
Small enough that you'll actually know everyone by Sunday. Guests are curated for the room, not first-come.

Where you'll stay
Lodging is included in the private group experience, and it's not an afterthought — expect a genuinely luxurious property, walkable to the week's centre of gravity, with a room that's a good place to come back to at 2am and a better one to wake up in.
We announce the property once the contract is signed and the block is held. Everyone on the invitation list hears first.
